It's so sad to hear that any of our IDF soldiers, or anyone, had been killed, whether by terrorist, accident or the inexplicable. And when the dead was one of those called "Lone Soldiers" it's even worse.
People like Shlomo Rindenow, Z"L, weren't drafted in the army. They join and contribute. And in some cases they are injured or die.
Sad, very sad, but not the first and I doubt the last...
