"The best defense is a good offense."Very unfortunately and potentially tragically, the State of Israel has ignored this principle. We haven't invented a good defensive weapon since the "Davidka," which was a brilliant bluff, more than an effective weapon.
That Marmara flotilla was a military and PR-hasbara attack against the State of Israel organized by various terror and pro-terrorist groups, NGOs and foreign countries.

The anti-Israel terrorists onboard were armed to attack, and therefore the IDF was totally in its right and responsibility as defenders of the State of Israel to stop it with force.
And like in any classic case of bullying and bribery, each Israeli concession is met with more demands.
